The Max Sobel Award

Each year the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New Jersey (AMTNJ) presents a member of AMTNJ the Max Sobel Award for outstanding service and leadership in Mathematics Education.

The president of AMTNJ has formed a committee to review all nominations for the award. At this time the committee is accepting nominations from the AMTNJ membership for the award.

If you are interested in making a nomination for the award please follow these guidelines:

1. Write a letter of nomination that includes name, address, and brief biography of the nominee that shows evidence as to why the person deserves to be considered for the Max Sobel Award. Include your name and contact information with the nomination.
2. Forward all correspondence to amtnj@juno.com and note Max Sobel nomination in the subject line.
