This session will explore with participants how we create spaces for students to see themselves as doers, knowers, and sense-makers of mathematics. We will identify structures, practices, routines, and activities that foster learning environments that hone students’ mathematical identities and foster agency. Teachers and leaders will leave the session with ideas and resources to bring back to their classrooms and schools.
